Boot/POST Problem on IN9-32X-MAX

Hello all,

Just finished assembling a new system. The mb works as advertised from a cold boot. However, if I try to restart (through Windows) or start the computer after shutting it down through windows, the system powers on, but will not boot. The only way I've been able to get it to boot is to remove all power from the system, clear the CMOS, and reapply power. Once this is accomplished, the system once again works as advertised.

Abit IN9-32X-MAX
E6600
Corsair XMS 2GB
PNY 8800GTS
XP SP2

Any ideas? The system works great except for this anomaly. Additionally, the reset button won't reset the board (it's connected properly).

with a new board such as this the best place for you to go is the abit-usa forum where you're more likely to find people with actual experience of it.
I also know that there's a beta BIOS there although whether that has any bearing on your problem :|
