I have an ATi x850 Pro. I was playing BF2 SF last night for a few hours (don't normally get to play that long) and my card got so hot i couldn't touch it. I just happened to have my case open becaust one of my case fans was ratteling and I had just tired down a wire that was the cause. The game really started lagging and glitching yet my ping was in the 20-30s. I touched the vid card on the top (the side without the fan and plastic thingy with the bull/minotaur on it) and it was really hot. didn't burn me but farkin hot!! 8O I don't overclock and the vid settings are medium at best. i have noticed a few times on extended play that this happens so i can only assume that I need better cooling for my video card. :( I was looking at getting these

the zalman ram heatsinks and this

My question is do you think that will fix the problem? Also do the little heatsinks go on the top part of the card? (not the fan side). I would think that would be the best location for cooling. In my case the fan on the video card faces down so the heat it blows down but then just rises back up to the card. Any help for this computer novice would be greatly appreciated. Also any other setups would be cool. Thanks peeps

Really? Thanks for the advise. I read all the reviews and everyone seems to like it that can actually put it together. I'll be using the 3 fans to ensure the most cool for the card. I still don't plan on overclocking but if i want to game for 3 or 4 hours i don't want to lag out after 2. I guess then I'll just get that kingwin then. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll order it now.
