Where do I start with this? I want certain applications to use a specific internet connection. I have 3 network cards and hopefully soon I will have 2 connections to the internet. I want to assign firefox and bittorrent clients to use a wireless connection and all others to use the other connection. Where do I start my research with this?

Try BVRP connection manager. Not sure it works though.
You can create differrent network profiles and use the one you want.
Originally made for travelers and laptops.
