I need to test several notebooks in order to estimate a real-life battery life, running the new Windows Vista operating system. While I normally use MobileMark 2005 (there is rumoured to be a '07 version on its way in March), the current version is unfortunately incompatible with Windows Vista!
How can I show my customers a real battery life estimate under Vista as opposed to XP? I suppose the Windows Aero GUI will have a decreasing effect on battery life, but then again power management is, allegedly, superior to Windows XP.
