I install the dcm425 modem driver., and the system can recognise it properly. but i can't connect to internet. why?

You will never need drivers for a cable modem unless you hook it up via USB. If you pc has a NIC then hook it up throught ethernet. If you don't and have it hooked up through USB then let me know and ill tell you what to do next.

it has being way back, but i would like to connec two pc to a rca dcm425, one with jack45 and the other with usb, the 45 its fine but the usb is not, what should i do??????

Get a router. You can't use both ports on a cable modem at the same time.
