This unit came in with split image (r and l switched) and owner said
they may have changed quite a few settings in service mode (was
probably ADDR mode). OSD is fine, but all inputs are affected.
Performed QA02 reset and the screen cleared up. While trying to
restore original settings, ADDR mode came on again and after a few
seconds restarted the TV. After doing this a few times, the image was
split in two again. It was
suggested it may need a new eprom. Any clues on where to start? Thanks in advance,

Alex

Toshiba Technical Service Advisor! Agreed, you may be looking at a mpu or
eprom but IMHO it is probably elsewhere in the signal processing circuitry.
Suggest trying to reset all the data to manufacturer shipping status and go
from there. Service manual with all the appropriate information, etc.
