There is this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130072
and this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130078
Whats the difference?

The second one I'm guessing o be slightly better but I heard it heats up a bit more.

I'm very aware that I could go out and try to research the differences but I dont have the time right now so I'm just looking for a quick answer.

Thanks

The second video card is overclocked. It's been given an extra 51 mhz on the core and 200mhz on the memory. Go for the second one if you aren't experienced in overclocking or don't want to waist your warranty.

I'm not sure about the overclocking part, you may be referring to another model that they also offer. The two models shown differ from what I see and find on the web site in the cooler that is attached. see more here http://www.theinquirer.net/Default.aspx?article=36719
or here http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=35604

or to save some time

"Almost three months later EVGA has announced the card with this cooler. But the new overclocking bios makes the card work at 626MHz core and 2.0GHz memory. The standard bios makes the card works at 575MHz core and 1.8GHz memory. A second card based on ACS3 is 8800GTS clocked at 580MHz core and 1.7GHz memory.

The cards are about to become available with etailers with suggested retail price of $649.99 for the 8800GTX KO ACS3, and $479.99 for the 8800GTS KO ACS3.

We already wrote that ACS3 is more efficient than Nvidia's own cooler and can keep the temperature down a few degrees more.

In addition to the new ACS3 models, EVGA is also announcing two Superclocked models, with Nvidia reference cooling. The faster one is called e-GeForce 8800 GTX Superclocked (P/N: 768-P2-N835-AR) and works at 621MHz core clock with 2.0GHz memory while the second one e-GeForce 8800 GTS Superclocked (P/N: 640-P2-N825-AR ) is clockerd at 576MHz core clock with 1.7GHz memory. "

The 51mzh difference is mentioned, I just wasn't sure if they meant it came that way or that with the bios you could overclock it yourself to that, it does seem to indicate it comes that way out of the box though.

hope this helps.

1)Price
2)One is overclocked higher
-EVGA 768-P2-N837-AR Core-626MHz Memory-2000MHz
-EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR Core-575MHz Memory-1800MHz
3 EVGA 768-P2-N837-AR has better cooler.
4) EVGA 768-P2-N837-AR is faster.

I would personally buy the first one and overclock it. You might check but eVGA's warranty wasn't voided by overclocking but that might have changed now.
2nd one if you don't want to overclock yourself and are worried about warranty. But the difference in real world games between the 2 won't be much.

Over clocking will not void the warranty. The ntune from Nvidia will allow you to over clock any of these card. It even has function to test the optimal OC.

It's really not worth OCing one of these cards the performance gains are small and heat is major problem without liquid cooling. These cards idle around 60C wide open in the 70-80C range. That's without OCing. To put in perspective the coolant temp for your car is around 85C once it's warmed up.

So the second car runs hotter since its overclocked. If it not enough of a proformance differnance then I should goe the first as I will not be using water cooling.
