I have a spare 3200+ is it worth using it to build a midrange lan gaming rig with a card like a 7600/x1600? Any sugestions for part under $300, I wont need a hard drive but would need m/b, ram, case, and maybe dvd drive.
If it's an A64 3200+ I'd say it would be worth it. On an older Athlon XP 3200+, not so much. It would struggle with a lot of the latest games. A modern $50 CPU would outdo it...
Its and athlon 64 which I upgrade to a 4200x2 a while ago and I didn't notice any difference in oblivion or graw so is this still the cae in new games such as rainbow 6 vegas or need for speed carbon?
