MY 3DMark06 score and CPU-Z

Ihiope you guys are justrunning a single card,or you have some problems with those scores.My2nd machine has 2 8800GTS's & a E6700 OCed to 2,93GHz and i scored 14,456.This rig scored over 16,000.QWhatdo each of you have for a CPU,Cards & Memory?

amd s939 3700+ and 68gt and corsair 512 xms.

"Well you see Timmy, what's best for gaming is what's best for gaming. There's no such thing as brand security in PC Hardware! The only people that believe in one brand over another, are people with low 3d Mark scores."

"Well I'd be happy to tell you Timmy, you can start out by going to Newegg.com, and checking out their selection of Core 2 Duo processors."

"Wow Mister, these Core 2 Duo's are almost the same price as my X2 was! Are you sure they perform better? I thought Intels offered the same performance for double the cost!"

"Well you see Timmy, that might've been true in 2004, but we're in 2006 now! Core 2 Duos dominate and are expected to dominate every aspect of the market, gaming or otherwise, budget or high-end for the next 6 months to a year!"

"Gee Mister, thanks! If only I could do something about the $1,867 my parents spent on this X2 system when I had the chance. I could really use one of those Core 2 Duo thingers!" ='(

I was more backing up what you said, but saying why.

I agree, with an 8800GTS getting an 8000-ish 3dmark is pathetic.

Core 2 Duo for the win.

Probably crappy drivers too.
