I have two BFG 7600GT's SLI and my temps are average of 50º C. I have a control in my desktop Bios to up the fan speed to 100%. They are currently at 60%. Will that hurt the cards or my computer in any way if I just always kept the fan speeds at 100%?

just a bit more noise..besides, BIOS is overriden when temp cpntrol programs start with your OS. However my BIOs says : Minimum Fan speed when idle, not maximum so i guess yours too (but i may be wrong) So this means that if not needed, fan speed will be brought down to 60% else it will go as high as it needs to go.

50C is normal temps for those cards at idle nothing to worry about there. No its not going to hurt your video card. Its going to help it... lower temps the better.

I drilled holls and put in a 80mm fan right over the GPC's and my temps dropped immediately 5º. Something to think about.
