Hi John.
To create folders and share them, the user needs at least read/list/write access to a
folder and be a member of the local power users group [to share folder].
For print drivers, there is a security option that you can disable in the appropriate
security policy relating to print drivers. Look under security settings/local
policies/security options.
For Windows Updates, you can allow non admins to have updates installed by selecting
"update by schedule" which lets it happen automatically. In a larger network the free
Software Update Services from MS can run on an IIS server and client configuration
can be managed by Group Policy as in the last link below. --- Steve
