I just installed AMD 11.6 diver for my EAH 5850. Then I played a bit of Crysis and then stut down. I turned on the pc an hour later and seconds after reaching the desktop, I get a System Service Exception BSOD. The boot up took a little longer than usual, so did POST. Here are my specs.
AMD Phenom II x6 1075T
EAH 5850 with 11.6 driver, previously on 11.5
4gb OCZ Platinum 1333mhz
Gigabyte GA 870A UD3
Western Digital Caviar Green 500gb
DVD drive
Is it to do with the driver or a microsoft update.
This has happened 3x in a row so I don't know WTF to do :?!!!
I am upgrading my case and hdds to an SSD and Raid 0 HDDs + I do have a backup of m libray and downloads so if I must reinstall please say.
Thx

From doing a quick search I'm seeing this happening mostly with RAM (improperly configured / bad) or video driver issues. Since you just installed the video driver the first thing I'd do is try to roll back the driver to the previous version.

my previous driver, I culdn't get crysis to not lag on any settings, with 11.6 I can. same with dx11, probably just using the wrong drivers.
ill boot into safe mode to roll back and ill report back
thx

I did that, and it worked.
went to the 11.6b diver which is supposed to be fixed... nope. Had to roll back again.
Ill download 11.5 5850 drivers, shout at amd for their shitty divers and wait for 11.7.
