I'm interested in overclocking this setup:

*Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775
*ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP LGA 775 Intel P965 Express
*ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro (cpu fan)
*Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) -timing: 4-4-4-12 -voltage: 2.0v -cas latency: 4
*COOLMAX CW-650T EPS12V 650W Aluminum ATX v2.01
*Sapphire ATI x1900xt 512mb video card
*Cooler Master Centurion 5

Years ago I had overclocked my Intel Celeron processor but had no idea what I was doing (overclocking a celeron processor makes me wanna laugh). I just wanna make sure i'm on the right track here, i'd hate to ruin parts due to overclocking incorrectly. Can someone point me in the right direction here? I've been watching my cpu temperature since I built this machine and the temp hovers between 28 and 32 degrees so I know I have tons of room here to OC.

Thanks!!

After doing some research for OC do I have this right?

I want to set my memory to 1:1 ratio, now is this done simply by manually setting my ram to 533mhz in the bios?

And then I just slowly start stepping up my cpu 100mhz at a time? I wanna shoot for 3.0ghz to 3.2ghz and would rather not mess with the voltage if I don't need to.

I understand the ram portion just fuzzy when it comes to stepping up the processor.

First of all, read this thread...from top to bottom(twice). If you still have questions...ask away. GL :)
