i need to make a decision regarding purchasing my first HDTV. I want a 34"
and it needs to be 16:9. i watch a lot of dvds and some tv. w/o concern
for price, which would you buy and why? is it a no-brainer or a tough
choice?

thanks for the input .

I own the Sony 34HS510 CRT and totally enjoy both the HD & Analog
Program

picture quality. Either of the above sets are Sony Top of the Line
CRTs.....

One is their best 2003 CRT model, other is their best 2004 (new 960)
CRT model...

Differences are installed HD Tuner & HDMI (Video & Audio) input port
on 960...

THere may be both good and bad differences I am not aware of also...

If the 960 'color or styling has changed'... go with the newer
960...

Every year HD TV sets get better and less expensive per feature...

Sony builds the best HD CRT TV sets in terms of performance...

Either one is a Superb choice.... & better than what I have....
