I would say no. And so will everyone else. But I think that everyone in this forum thinks that you need bigger PSU's than you actually do.

I came up with 227w required, but i was just kind of guessing on your other components.

I personally wouldn't run this system on anything less than a 400w, but you really need to look at the amps on the 12v rails.

yes it's possible in theory but not in practice. In practice you won't find a 250W PSU built beefy enough to sustain that 250W continuously (unless a good server PSU) and it is unlikely it would have the 12V current you need, too much of that wattage devoted to 5V or 3.3V.

So the short answer is the prior reply is correct for any practical purpose, don't do it.

yeah, well i have a 600 watt that i believed to have been the problem of my computer flicking on and off briefly everytime i hit the power button. i've gotten a brand new motherboard and processor. so those arent the issue, the powersupply i took out and just tested it with another powersupply. the same thing happened! its ridiculous...any ideas?

It could be possible but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES stress the PSU at all (I.E play a game). To be safe underclock the CPU and video card if possible. Or just make it easy buy a new, good quality PSU.
