first build $1000 - $1400 budget

i am looking to build my first gaming pc and i have a budget of $1000 - $1400 so far i am considering

Processor - Intel CPU Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40GHz 1066FSB LGA775 4MB cache
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2
Ram - GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Harddrive - 250 GB Western Digital Caviar SE16 SATA2 7200rpm 16MB cache Hard Drive oem
Optical - Samsung SH-S182D 18x18 DVD±RW ReWriter (Black) x2
Case - Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming case


any input would be very much appreciated i not sure what psu to get yet as i still have to decide on what gfx card i am going to get

nice that u waited on the power supply and the vid card, cause sometimes the vid card of today will have an extra 4 pin molex power connector.

U def need a PCI express card :) 

and a 600 W psu will be enuf.

See if ur case builder has a 600 W recommend on their site.

What game u gonna be playing? how about SWG:empire divided? i been playing it fer 3 yrs :)

On the video card if you buy a EVGA they have a step-up program where you can upgrade within 90 days.
That helped me make my decision a few hours ago.
