"not a valid win32 application"

Trying to install a game via the cd-rom drive and I am running into the error, "not a valid win32 application". I tried on both my cd-rom and dvd-rom drive and receive the same error. Also tried another cd-rom game to no avail. Help!

Are you exploring the CD and clicking on what you think is the installer? or is it auto playing and giving you that error?
