3 degree temp difference between each core on my E6400??!

P5B Deluxe
Sycthe Samuraii
Zalman Super Thermal grease
Sharkoon Rebel 9 Case (w 250mm side case fan blowing onto Scythe + Mobo)
H/S secured and tightened properly; no lapping.

In both TAT and Core temp I'm getting unsual temperature readings between the cores.

Standard 2.13GHz (After warming up / Ambient 24 degrees)
Core 1: 30 Idle
Core 2: 27 Idle

O/C'd to 2.9GHz (lazy overclock)
Core 1: 34 Idle
Core 2: 31 Idle

O/C'd to 2.9GHz
(For example Dual Prime)
Core 1: 51 full load
Core 2: 46 full load

Every time you see a post with either Tat or Core Temp temperature readings there always seem to be a difference of 1 degree between the cores ie Core 1: 32 Core 2: 31/32.

Should I be concerned??

not really, they are two distinct cores, so it would not suprize me if one was better then the other.

Every CPU core is unique in it's voltage tolerance and thermal behavior, so few degrees difference between cores is quite normal. 8)

Thanks guys.. was getting worried there.. thought it was abnormal expecting only a 1C difference between cores.
