What type of connectors do I need to make sure my Micro ATX motherboard has in order to ensure that I can run to internal dvd burners. I'm kind of a newb and know that mATX sometimes skimps on expansion slots so I need to know what to look out for .

Thanks!

Almost all DVD burners uses the IDE/PATA connector. DVD burners using the SATA are becoming available, but they are more expensive and offers no performance increase.

Here's a picture of the BIOSTAR I945G-M7 V2.X LGA 775 Intel 945G Micro ATX motherboard for reference:

So to answer your question, yes. You can connect up to two DVD burners on the IDE/PATA connector.
