Would one buy any better card than a 7300gs for pocketmoney since we all are waiting for cheaper releases of directx 10 compatible cards. Wouldnt any better card be a waist of money right now. :?:

I agree that it is a bad time to upgrade your graphics right now, but if you buy a new computer, you want to use it now, not in a mounth or two.

yeah its a bad time to upgrade, but it has nothing to do with DX10. It has to do with good cheap cards coming out soon and with current cards dropping in price because of it... nothing will use DX10 for 6 months...

Aint that sad. Even if there is no game or progs are using directx 10 right now, manufacturers keeps throwing directx 9 cards on the consumers. :(

7300GS = bad.

For under $100 in PCI express you can get a 7600 GS or X1650 PRO. Or even a 7300 GT DDR3 if you can find one.

If you need even cheaper, Newegg has an open box X700 PRO for $50 right now. Much better than a shared memory 7300 GS.
