Recently I saw a Mitsubishi DLP TV at Anderson's TV. Model no WD52725.
I was told that this contains HD2+ chip and 7 segment wheel.

I don't see the mention of HD2+ on Mitsubishi website?

Any opinions

Thanks,

-AS

So what did the pix look like? Isn't that the important part?

The picture was good and very much like the current Samsung's.
My understanding was that no sets with HD2+ chip have come out as yet?

All of the Mits DLP's have the HD2+ chip. See the following...

I wouldn't get too hung on the labels for the technology. There are lots of
variables other than the chipset that can affect the resulting pix. The
bottom line is what do they look like at what price, aside from any service
issues. Mitsubishi has said that they have been waiting until they got it
right to bring DLP to the market, but you never know until you see the end
result.
