I juts ordered mine not to long ago. they have reg ones for 300 and overclocked ones for 310+ but for the price. if you have alittle money to front out. just spend the extra 30 dollers for the 64o one.

Waiting to see benchmarks on this little brother first...........

Typically a drop in memory affects gaming performance around 8-12%, so I don't see why this would be any different. Depends on how badA$$ the 640 meg version is for what you'd need, and then whether the 320 version will do the trick. It's about $80 cheaper here in Canada, so it could make a decent difference in the cost of a build if the performance doesn't suffer too much.

Best price here for a 640 meg 8800GTS is like $470!!!

Try DirectCanada.com, they have great prices. I already ordered from them and everything went fine.

They have a 8800GTS 320MB at 345$ (CAN). They're not in stock now, but check a few days later, maybe you'll be lucky.

e-VGA 8800 GTS 320 MB

It's not pre-overclocked, but you can do it yourself if you want to. Hope that it helps!

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on them........I'm doing a build for a buddy within the next couple of weeks, and he'll be gaming at 1280 rez, so I think I'll scoop a 320 version of the GTS.....it'll do just fine for him ;)

The 320mb version of the 8800gts is great for evga's step-up program, since the the 640mb version still costs 440$ on their website. On the other hand if you were buying the card from newegg and not upgrading through the step-up program then the 640mb version of the card will probably be the better deal, since in the future games might require more memory and there is little difference in cost.
