More Information

Here's the name of an "available right now" Quad Core cpu :

"Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Quad Core Processor" from intel.

Now what mother board? here's 2 good ones from trusted manuf's:

Asus P5N-E SLI

SPEC page at
http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx? [...] odelmenu=2

or Intel

http://cache-www.intel.com/cd/00/0 [...] 259848.pdf

This pdf is 60 pages full of nice factual info and specs for the quad cores and motherboards made by Intel that support the quad core cpu.

OK so now u got PURE Factual info on your motherboard, you're gonna have to put WIndows Vista on and somehow make sure that all 4 cores are processing or running at the same time.

Of course you could be sure that all 4 processors are running because u are sending power to 1 cpu, and that cpu is powered up.

But how can you be truly sure? Does Vista {or any third party} have a lil utility that lets u see performance specs from each of the 4 cores on that 1 Quad Core cpu?

if c2d was the core two duo then the quad core could be QC...

FuN TiMe:
this post is dedicated to Gremalcon and all other consumers with deep pockets! Grem pls call us azz_holes and pr_i_cks more often, it makes me laff so hard!! and brother I need to laff!!

I mean really...i love being called names, its been done all my life, and if u could refer to some other comedians like Laurel n Hardy, Aabott n Costello, the 3 stooges....hey i'd love to laff at those jokes too!!

I think what got me to laff real hard was the fact that Gremalcon was serious about his search for quad core knowledge and most of us have no experience with it and he got 2 non serious replies about it.

ok all fun aside, there's great tech info on those 2 sites above. Get em GREM!

Gremalcon you are loved! :)
