On a 15" monitor, that system will give you like a bazillion frames per second.

Even on a 19" or 20" it'll still kick A$$.

nice post, thanx for some details, but its not that simple.

U should invest in a UPS 750 or 1000.

for one thing, u have to be sure that the game ur playing: what DX version does it work best with or require.

usually dx9c is the version thats been good for last 6 months.

then look at other specs of ur game and see if your video item will be supported by the game.

SOE does a pretty good job in their community forums and support area to tell the consumer which hardware will work with a particular game.

at the above site, u can see a helpful support community trying to help their SWG players sort out video problems

This system will do anything you need.
The biggest issue is "Vista".

If at all possible install a copy of XP and run that for a while.
There are still or were driver issues with the DX10 cards and Vista.

There is absolutely no reason this could not handle anythng you wanted.

I would consider something like an Artic Freeze Pro 7 or other after market cooler. You are going to want to push this system to 3.0 GHZ or higher for max performance.

why is that i heard the gigabytes amazing for overclocking

Just for sli support, a feature that the gygabyte does not have. And for 120 usd its a great deal.
