What 2 choose for £1800...plz help!!

i've saved up money for my new upgrade and i think i've got enough in the bank to go ahead with the deal.im buying all my parts seperately so i'll be building it myself. i have to ship all of my stuff to South Africa when i go back in 3 months...the reason i'm buying in uk is because SA is 3-4 months behind with the latest.my problem is i dont know what CPU/MOBO combination i should buy?? i was looking at the following:

you'll notice my Screen and case is not included, but i'll have to buy that in SA...i want to now if you guys think this is a good buy or should i wait??? i hate the waiting game, but i read that Nvidia will revise there 8800 series cards in the near future??should i wait 4 8900?? also, is my choice of mobo not to dated? plz guys, i dont want to $£%^& this upgrade up...
