Hello, I recently bought a Foxconn MB 760GXK8MC for my older machine since the capacitors leaked on that one. I was running 2x512 DDR PC2700 333MHz RAM(w/heat sinks) on my older machine, so I checked the new MB specs and saw that it was compatible with my old memory. Ok, so now when I switch the MBs, and install the RAM on the new MB, it just gives me a long beep pause long beep. I know its the RAM, since I tried putting in my 2x256 DDR PC2100 and it takes those just fine. Any other ideas? I mean what should I try next? Is there a BIOS setting maybe to slow the speed down or something? Please help. Thank you in advance. :(

Try clearing the CMOS data and try again with only one DIMM at a time installed.
