I have two pcs, one loaded with WinXPSP1 and the other with Manny 9.1 Linux. I'd like to network the two using wireless as I really don't have enough space in the room the boxes are in. I have a Netgear 10/100 hub, but that would require a lot of wire as the boxes would have to be on two different floors. My preference is to put the Manny box downstairs as it would probably get less use than the WinXP box. (My family thinks Linux is Lucy's kid brother.) So far I've drawn goose eggs in finding a PCI adapter that will work with Linux. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know enuff to be dangerous.

check for the chipsets of the Wireless cards from different mfg's and try a search on google to see if someone already got a driver for it.

Belkin got 54g wireless cards with Broadcom chips so u can use generic drivers written for Broadcom 54g chipsets
