Is there a way to give a Windows 2000's Local system account to print to a
Windows 2003 system? Or, can the spooler service be run under a Domain user
account?

We have an application that uses the local system account to spool print
jobs. We have a printer on the 2003 system, and when the app tries to send
the job to the printer an error message is generated stating that the job
could not be started.

I found the answer to the problem under KB278259
