I have the Thermaltake Blue Orb II, My cpu is still running about about 50*C or so when I am just running desktop programs such as Firefox, Excel and Outlook. Any suggestions. Did I put the Arctic silver on wrong?

I have a Rosewill ATI 800xl PCI-E video card. It loves to run hot. 52* on idle. Usually reaches near 70-80*C while running Tiger Woods. Any suggestions?

Which of the follow is best?

Memory Timings (DDR)
@ 200 MHz 3.0-3-3-8 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 11-14-2 (RC-RFC-RRD)
@ 166 MHz 2.5-3-3-7 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 10-12-2 (RC-RFC-RRD)
@ 133 MHz 2.0-2-2-6 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 8-10-2 (RC-RFC-RRD)

50*C is not excessive for a CPU. I would say it is in the normal range.

Please list the specs of your computer so we can answer your questions about memory.

Themaltake Golden ORB II,

My real concern is why is the CPU still so hot? I put the new Heatsink on and haven't really noticed it cooling down but 2-3* compared with the Intel Stock cooler.

You should run the memory @ 200 MHZ.
