OK, I went and bought the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series - Retail from Newegg.

I have a question, and maybe I should post this in the Soundcard section. I have the Asus 680i motherboard, not the Extreme. It has the built in sound. Should I take the asus Sound card off the motherboard?? And does anyone know is there just one place in the bios where I have to disable the onboard sound? Does it just say disable & enable??

Just tired of the crackling sounds I get with on board sound.
