Was surprised to see a Panasonic 30" Widescreen HDTV Monitor i Wal-Mart.
It was a CT-30WC14 and was priced $800. Anyone familiar with it. The
picture looked fine in Wal-Mart.
I been waiting for a big price drop in the DLP but I'm also concerned about
how many show room sets I've seen with stuck pixels. Even the one's that
are stuck black get annoying once you see them. Anyway though maybe the
Wal-Mart Panasonic would be a good interim set

Probably best with the direct view. I see that same set with a great
display HD picture at our walmart. Try checking the Panasonic
homepage for the details of the set. I'm not sure if this one had a
HD tuner or what else it has. Many of the new sets do have the HDMI
connector. I use the Component on my set just like Wally.

Panasonic does not have this model listed on their homepage. I wanted
to see specs as well, but I was SOL. This may be a model marketed
just for Walmart, so it would not appear on their page.

Rajendra
The reason I mentioned it wasn't because I was told it, it's because I've
seen it. They get stuck on and off. When the mirror is stuck off it's less
easy to detect because it looks like a spec of dirt on the screen. Once you
see though even the black spec get's annoying. Mirror stuck on really get's
annoying.
If it wasn't for the stuck pixel problem I wouldn't even be thinking about
the Panasonic

Panasonic does list some low prices on their site. I found the direct
view sets on the page below. Note I think they all are monitors
meaning you would have to use a dish, direct or cable receiver for HD.

I typed "CT-30WC14" into google and came up with some sites. I think
that may be a 2004 model. The ones listed on the Panasonic homepage
most likely are 2005's.
