I'm looking to purchase an Intel E6300 from Newegg soon and I would like to know if they are selling the new "L2 stepping" (CPU ID of 6F2 versus 6F6 for the old "B2 stepping" ). I tried Newegg support, but they weren't able to identify the CPU ID of the chips they sell.

Has anyone purchased the E6300 from Newegg lately to confirm the change? It was supposed to happen on Feb. 9.
