Asus A8S-X with Ultra V-Series 500 Watt PSU

I'm having a problem with this combo. This is the barebones kit from TD. The power supply provides a 20/24 pin power connector. The motherboard requires the 24 pin connector which leaves no 4 pin connector for the ATX12V connection.

Has anyone gotten this combo to work?

most boards work with the extra 4 pins on the atx power connector unconnected, and there will be an extra 4 pin "p4" connector (as with all new psu's) there.

Thanks for the response Apache. The MB definitely will not work with only 20 pins and there is no extra 4 pin connector. I'm thinking incompatable.

Problem solved. There was an 8 pin connector that separates into two 4 pin connectors.
