I'm thinking about purchasing 8800gts in sli. I'll be playing on a large crt but 1280x960 would do me fine. Would it be worth it? Would I be better off getting a 8800gtx? And how would it go on a 650i mobo. Meh. And what kind of psu would I be after. (recommend)

Thanks =).

Get a single 8800GTX instead; the lack of video memory on the 320MB 8800GTS will seriously hurt performance at the highest resolutions, the one place where SLI truly shines.

If 1280x960 will do you fine, two 8800's are an absolute waste.

At that resolution, a single 8800 GTS is more than sufficient.

If the day comes in the future where you need more power and they release a game that requires it, then get the second 8800. It'll be cheaper.
