I pretty sure it can't be done but it's always worth asking around here.

Can a dual screen set up be done with a Widescreen and a standard monitor ? I'm using a Matrox milennium G550 and it dosen't seem to like it.

I have a widescreen and a standard-aspect ratio monitor working nicely on my setup, so it does work, but I can't comment on your video card.
