Wanna watch me make market share inroads against Tiffany's? No problem. Come to Capt. April's Jewellers where you can buy a $5,000 genuine Rolex for $49.95, limited time only. Dang, I'm gonna get all sorts of market share. Fast too. However, it's a market strategy that only a kindergarten dropout would agree is sound long-term business sense.

Selling a 3200 for $53 is pretty well tantamount to that. Might differ by dollars but not in betraying total boardroom desperation.

Positive AMD news?

All you do is post FUD, one post after the other it's always AMD this and AMD that. It's almost like you work for their PR department.

And when you post Intel news it's always with a quirky remark regarding why you posted it.

It's annoying. If you can't argue your points and preffer to just spam the forum with Pro-AMD propaganda then of course you will get some members, such as myself, who will voice THEIR opinions. And my opinion is that you're annoying.

I think this is the best sign of all that Barcelona is a monster. AMD has said that Barcelona will debut at the same price that DUal Opteron debuted at.

8220 was I believe $2500.

I guess we can also expect the 2.2GHz chip to be the cost of the 2.8GHz currently.

sounds to me that AMD is making warehouse room for all those beastly k10's

but shhhhhhhhhhhhh pro-amd news here is frowned up.... only positive INTEL news like the INTEL IS UNSTOPPABLE thread is ok here

Just need an anti-lordpope to spam Intel slanted news everyday to make an equilibrium to the forumz.

In additional news, Intel plans to drop its quad-core processor, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 (launched on January 7, 2007) from US$851 to US$530 for 1000 unit trays in the second quarter of 2007, a drop close to 37%
