I am building a new PC soon, it will be inside an Apple Quicksilver box that I have.

I was going to build a PC based around:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz

Gigabyte Gigabyte 965P-DS3
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB)

SAPPHIRE 100176U Radeon X1950PRO 256MB

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache

I would like to stay close to this build as I think it is fairly good. I am however open to suggestions. I think the MB will have to be a micro... other than that I should be good I think.

Primary use is MMO gaming and some very light Alias work. (workstation planned for the future.. think quadro:)

Thanks guys!!!

If you want to overclock the E6600, then stay away from m-ATX at the moment. I've been doing some preliminary research for a new HTPC that I want to put together some time in Fall/Winter 2007. So far, under the best case scenario m-ATX mobos will only hit a max FSB of between 285MHz - 300MHz.

That means you can only overclock the CPU between 7% and 13% at most. This may change in the future if manufacturers decide to provide BIOS updates that will allow for better overclocking options.

This applies to all chipsets being used in these m-atx mobos ranging from the 945G to the 965G. There is no m-ATX out there that uses the P965 or the 975X chipset.

My concern isn't with OC'ing, as I don't see myself doing that. For what I will be doing with the computer I just don't see the need. I just want to get a good MB that will fit in the Apple case.

So if anyone has any good Mico MB suggestion please let me know.

Thanks,
