What are the best craphics cards for photo/video editing? I need a card that supports at least two high-end monitors (Eizo/Samsung LED), is good in terms of support for color spaces and calibration etc etc.

I currently have a Matrox Parhelia but it is AGP and I am upgrading my ageing system to a Core 2 Duo. The only MoBo i have seen that supports AGP and PCI-express is by ASrock, but this has some limitations hence I will look at getting a new graphics card as well.

I would say to stick with the X1300 or wait for the GF8100-8300 or whatever, so that he can keep the advantage of the 10bit per pixel colour. With the Samsung LED backlit, I'd go with the truer colour range.

Heck the GF8 series also has the good nV sub-pixel support, so it might be a great find if the low end keeps all the features of the high end, and best future support.
However, going from the Matrox Parhelia I'd stick with the X1300 at least IMO.
