v551 Bluetooth and Mac OS 10.2

Hello,

I really like my new v551 thus far, but I am unable to browse files via
Bluetooth from my Mac (iBook). Bluetooth connects to the phone just
fine, but then returns an error when it tries to get files. I've
noticed that my laptop lists the phone as a computer rather than a
phone. Anybody have any luck with this? - I just want to be able to
pull pictures off of the phone as well as install my own images,
ringers etc.

BTW I spoke to a Motorola support dude today and he told me that I
should be able to browse the three main files on the phone over
Bluetooth without the $49 software - but he was prohibited from telling
me how to make it work.
