cant get scriber to follow me to pillers

I cant get the scriber to follow me to the pillers, I know the first one
is treeson but keep waiting at the pillar but he wont follow. i need him
to open the cave for aribeth and and sleeping man quest.frusterated. Any
ideas ?

Perhaps its a spelling problem, "treeson" isn't a word, but "treason" is.

Of course, if you were saying the word out loud, nobody would know you'd
spelled it wrong in your head, presumably it would sound the same.

He should temporarily join your group and you should see his portrait on the
right hand side of the screen. Is that happening? You could try dropping
one of your henchmen and see if he joins you properly.
