Missing media drives not visible or working

Hello,
2 of my DVDRW Drives aren't showing in Windows Explorer, or working. 1 is an IDE drive. The other is Sata drive this happened when I either uninstalled some programs or some type of hardware, or after some software drivers were downloaded, what could have caused this? And what would be thee e best possible fix for this dual problem?

Hello, & Welcome to Tom's Hardware!

You may have inadvertantly uninstalled the drivers for those DVD's

Go to the Device manager, and in the list under the DVD/CD ROM drives, if they are listed there, right click and Uninstall them. Then on the DVD/CD ROM line itself, click on Scan for Hardware Changes.
The reboot and hopefully your OS will find them and install them properly.
