Please reccomend a good wired router

I have a 15down/2up cable connection and I need a router to connect 2 desktops(wired), 1 notebook(wireless) and a vonage phone(wired). I am currently using a Belkin 7321-4 but im not sure its giving me all the performance my connection is capable of, things slow down alot when utorrent is running even though I should have plenty of bandwith to surf while downloading . I will use the Belkin as an AP for my notebook im not to worreid about speed on that connection its the wired dektops Im interested in getting the best network performance from. They both have gigabit lan ports so was thinking of maybe going with a gigabit router, but im not sure its really worth the extra money right now. I know it wont effect my internet speed but would help transfering files from one computer to another. So if you guys could please reccomend both 100 and 1000mbps routers that would give me the best performance it would be great. Ive been looking at the Dlink dgl-4100 but it seems you pay a premium for the gaming features. Any routers that would offer similar performance but with out all the bells and whistles that I dont need? Do you think a new router will give me better perfomance then my Belkin 7231? The tech guy at my ISP said it may not have enough wan - lan throughput to give me the full perfomance of my connection which is quite fast 15/2.
