What would you recommend for a graphic card for a system that doesn't have a connector for a supplemental power connector. The system is a Dell Optiplex GX745 minitower. There is only a single-wide slot and no connector (for either a 6-pin PCI-e or 4-pin hard drive) from the power supply.

The power supply probably is rated at around 300Watts.

Also, I need to drive a single 2650 x 1600 30" monitor. I'd like to get the card with the best performance that this machine will drive.

(I'm kind of bummed that I can't use a high performance card in this machine, but we're restricted to the Dell Optiplex line at work.)

Be careful though, look at the amps on your +12v for the PSU and how many the card draws.

Please be aware that the highest resolution supported by most cards is the native resolution of the Dell 30" monitor at 2560x1600 in 2D.
