Trying to upgrade my system with advice from tomshardware reviews
I'm wondering if these parts fit together

It's mostly the RAM I'm worried about since the motherboard says DDR2 SD and the RAM I found only says DDR2. Does it still fit?

Thanks!

you're OK

MSI Reminds You...
• DDR2 800 needs to work with Intel Conroe CPU with FSB1066.
• The default memory frequency is DDR2 667, you can set to 800 in BIOS settings.

A 600W OCZ GameXstream would be perfect for a E6600/8800GTX combo.

Also, 1 GB might not be the smart choice, unless you're getting another gig soon.

@PMR - Thank you for the info it's much appreciated!

@DeusEx - Ouh dang, are you saying that my current 450W can't handle the pressure? And yes, you are right - I should get at least 2 gigs!
