But I hope to soon. Is it hard if I have all the parts? (And they fit..) For someone new how long am I looking at?

There are plenty of quality guides on the web - for instance, the tomshardware guide to building a PC.

For my first build, I set a weekend out - took me both days, ~20 hours.
(Included EVERYTHING) (setup XP, install standard apps ex. antivir) (tests)

If your new at building a PC you should carefully read the instruction and do everything slowly. As for time wise don't rush it you have all the time in the world. plus if u break something it would cost you considerable amount of money so take your time and DO NOT RUSH it.
