which sata port should i plug my hard drive into? i only have one sata hard drive and i am not sure which color sata port to use? also, wont show cpu in device manager and is listed as a standard pc not an acpi multiprocessor pc. i have an e6400 processor 2.13 gig intel core 2 duo. any help?

Plug it into the port labelled 'Sata 0' or something similar. Not sure what you mean by your other question, can you ellaborate?

I plugged mine in the purple SATA port and working great for me.

open up device manager in windows xp sp 2 and cllick on computer. mine is listed as a standard pc. my cpu, intel core 2 duo e6400, does not show up in device manager. doesnt even say processor i the device tree.
