Actually I'm waiting until the R600 is released to see if the prices for the 8800's go down. So odds are I'll be replacing the 1950 with a 8800. Should the power supply hold up well with the 8800?

Consider dropping down to a lower processor (6300 or 6400) and put the extra money in to a GTS video card. May not be the best option for your particular situation depending on your usage and whether or not you would like to o/c

I plan on keeping the 6600 and OC to 3.0ghz following the guide on toms forumz. Good move? I'm willing to go over my 1500 budget for the graphic card, I reedited my post at the bottom.

PSU should be fine.

You could always grab an Evga card and just use the step up program if your planning on nabbing an 8800.

Anyone else have any comments? I enjoy it here the people are mostly nice :).

GARGWWW!!!! I EAT NOOB FLESH!! J/K

The perfect GPU solution: Buy a G70 (preferably a 7600GT/7900), wait three months, and upgrade via eVGA's step-up plan to a DX10 (8600GT?)

Raven_87 suggested that already and I have heard of it but I always have my doubts. Thanks for not eating me.

So I'm guessing my build is all good?
