With what?

Windows Media Player?

If so, that's your problem.

Get and use GSPlayer instead.

Are you sure the data rate of your connection is higher than that of the
streamed data? If not it's pointless.

I recommend GSPlayer as an audio player, but it probably won't help with the
OP's problem. If the link is directly to an mp3 file as opposed to a
playlist, the browser will download the file before opening it with the
appropriate player. If you could get the browser to pass the url of the mp3
file to gsplayer (or I imagine WMP) instead of downloading it, then GSPlayer
would stream it, but I don't know of a way to get the browser to do that.

If the data rate of your connection is not faster than the rate of the music
it can't play properly. That makes it pointless trying to play immeadiately.
Remember that the data rate of the music is not the number important here-
tha data is sent in packets and has checking data as well as headers thatr
need to be stripped off before the data can be used.

Use a Pocket IE like Multiie or similiar to copy the target address to the
clipboard, then open the file in player of your choice, which should start
playing as it streams.

As far as the rate remember that a good bluetooth connection is ~700k. This
bodes well for audio (typically 128k, plus the overhead), but remember your
dropoff range will affect this if you are away from your source. Also note
that internet network congestion can cause you problems, but as the
proliferation of higher-rate Shoutcast stations show this is manageable.

Good Luck.
