Recently I went to turn my computer on and smoke started coming out of the power supply. I quickly turned the computer off and removed the power supply. I never got around to ordering a new supply until a few weeks later. I just got the new power supply today and plugged everything up, but when I went to turn the computer on, nothing happens. No fans spinning, no lights on, nothing else. I double-checked to make sure everything is plugged in, and it appears to be. The switch is set to on and the 115v setting is selected, but nothing will turn on.
Could the new psu be bad, or is it my mobo? If the mobo is the problem, would everything else be fried too?
