Hi,

This will be my second build. I have had a good look around the forums, so don't have any particular questions, just thought I would post here what I'm thinking of getting.

Please feel free to let me know what you think, or if I have made any mistakes!

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4G
Asus P5W DH Deluxe (Socket 775)
GeForce 8800 GTX - (would like alot)
or GeForce 8800 GTS - (more likely)
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PK PC2 - 6400
Western Digital Raptor 150GB (for system disk)
Western Digital Caviar 500GB (for storage)
NEC SATA 18x18 DVD Dual Layer
620W Corsair HX Series Modular PSU
Zalman CNPS7700-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler
Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser
Lian Li PC-V600B Black Case

Cheers.

FYI, 8600 budget cards are coming out in March.

The case looks very solid & good for quiet operation.

Very smart choices of harddisks for separate os & data storage.

If you're not overclocking, don't need the aftermarket hsf. The bios has an option to lower the fan speed.

The psu is insane. 50A combined on +12v rails. Enough for 8800gtx sli.

Im getting the corsair PSU also...ive heard nothing but glowing reviews. Im ordering my system today if my freaking payment authorization ever goes through with newegg. My visa bank card is not playing well with newegg and so far im about 9 phonecalls in. Not neweggs fault though, the customer support people are awesome. I have 2 of them working on it now with constant email contact between them and me.
